I am an Alien

This book is written with the intention of documenting my life in Japan as a foreigner. It contains mainly personal observations and opinions. It is in no way meant to be a guide for people who want to understand the Japanese people and their culture. There are tones of such guidebooks out in the market. I do not consider myself qualified enough to provide guidance and insight into the Japanese mind. Not much research has been done prior to my writings, except for the occasional search on the Internet and in my dictionary. It is written more as an autobiography than a guide. Writing allows me to escape from the situation I found myself in. It is a way for me to release my emotions and to avoid depression. Writing, is my form of escapism, and makes me less lonely, because Japan, with its 127million population, is a lonely place to live in.

I hope someone will end up reading this book, and perhaps maybe enjoy it! Knowing that someone out there has read this book will definitely make me less lonely. So, do send me your comments after reading it:-

I thank you.
